Heart Signal selects single, non-celebrity men and women from different backgrounds and has them live together in the “Signal House,” where they take part in a month-long dating experience without disrupting their regular work and daily lives. The production team sets special rules—such as entering the house one after another, sending anonymous text messages at night, and initiating dates—to create opportunities for these young participants to show their genuine “heart-fluttering” moments as naturally as possible. In each episode, invited celebrity guests and psychology experts act as off-site observers, forming the “Heartbeat Cupids,” who look back on the participants’ everyday interactions, details of their shared life, and the direction of their relationships, then make inferences, analyses, and connect the “heartbeat” pairings.
