TVING Original “Transit Love 4” (Intl. Title: EXchange 4) is making new history in K-dating reality.
According to TVING on the 13th, “Transit Love 4” recorded numbers of paid-subscription contributors that are 530% higher than season 1 (based on 10 days after release), 149% higher than season 2, and 74% higher than season 3, showing explosive growth that surpasses all previous seasons.
This achievement was reached in the short span of only four episodes, proving that “Transit Love” has established itself not just as a dating reality show but as a genre in its own right. In particular, the season pre-released episodes 1 and 3 as free live previews to expand viewer inflow, and with its fast pace and unpredictable narrative, it has been producing “환친자” (a term for devoted fans of the show) faster than previous seasons.

As evidence of this, communities and social media have been erupting with reactions such as “I was obsessed with Transit Love all through this holiday,” “This will be a legendary season,” “My dopamine exploded during the Jenga scene,” “I hope X’s identity is revealed soon — I’m dying to know,” “I want to support both the reunion and the transfer — what do I do?,” and “a continuous string of legendary moments.”
Episodes 3 and 4 of “Transit Love 4,” released on Wednesday the 8th, featured the four MCs — Simon Dominic, Lee Yong-jin, Kim Ye-won, and Yura — alongside BOYNEXTDOOR’s Seongho and Myung Jae-hyun, watching over the pink, romantic moods of the male and female housemates and heightening viewers’ interest with highly invested reactions. In particular, after the love story of the first “X” couple was revealed and a new female housemate appeared, viewers’ dopamine hit a peak. As a result, “Transit Love 4” took first place for two consecutive weeks in weekly paid-subscription contributions, continuing its dominant run.
The first date, which began with the female housemates’ nominations, filled the transfer house with a strange mix of tension and excitement. The female housemates approached those they were interested in with active flirting and, through sincere conversations, raised the emotional temperature of the relationships, leaving viewers eager to see what would happen next. After the date, a Jenga game for getting to know one another sent fiery signals back and forth, racing hearts all around.
The free dates the following day dramatically shifted the balance of relationships, and with the arrival of a new female housemate, the atmosphere in the transfer house changed in an instant. In the midst of these upheavals, some were thrown into confusion by X’s changed attitude and fell into uncertain emotions, and the network of relationships among the young men and women began to grow more tangled.
In this way, “Transit Love 4” is driving viewer immersion to the max as housemates with different backstories create unpredictable emotional currents. Above all, with the veiled identities of the Xs being revealed one by one, anticipation for future developments is growing even stronger.
